The 8 piece group recently announced they were going their separate ways after releasing just 1 single.
'We all feel the time has come for us to now continue our journeys individually. We have learnt first-hand just how tough the industry is as an unsigned act. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, we are no longer able to carry on as a band. Please understand that there is nothing more that you could have done and that this is a situation completely beyond both your control and ours.'

'We have considered endless ways of how we might try to make this work, but it is logistically impossible for us to continue as Stereo Kicks. From the bottom of our hearts, we will be forever grateful for all of your hard work, support and love. We can't thank you enough.'

Where as the band fail to mention the specific logistics making it 'impossible' to continue… we can't imagine it's been easy ride so far.
Imagine the sheer amount of prior planning and cost a band of eight - ranging from high school students to grown men - that live all around the United Kingdom takes.

We have a headache just thinking of the time spent sorting out Travelodge booking references and Uber's while they've been touring the country.

'Although this is really sad for us, we felt that we wanted to end on a high,' the band continued. 'You guys have been with us every step of the way and have been the first to hear our news, and we wanted to keep it that way!'

And after their first (and last) single Love Me So stormed the midweek charts, we suppose they really are ending things on a high.

Now to wrap this up… If you're feeling a little sad about it all, don't be.

Rather than one band, you've now got eight solo artists in the form of James Graham, Reece Bibby, Tom Mann, Casey Johnson, Jake Sims, Charlie Jones, Barclay Beales and Chris Leonard.
